Thailand: Bangkok

After Hong Kong, we went to Thailand.  First stop - Bangkok.  Leah has now gotten used to planes and knows people sit behind us.  When we board the plane and put her down, she will stand up on the back and smile at the people behind us.  We also caught her sticking her hand through the crack to touch them.  She made friends quickly with everyone around us.

We got picked up from the airport from our guide.  Speaking of guide, we used the travel agency Journeys Within and they were amazing!  They made our entire Thailand trip stress free and fun.  We were starving once we arrived, so our guide took us to lunch.  I had Pad See-Ew which was delish. Leah loved it too.  We went to the Grand Palace and visited Wat Phra Kaew, which houses the Emerald Buddha, and Wat Pho to see the reclining Buddha.

After the temple, we took a boat ride through the klogs and canals of Bangkok and fed catfish.  It was crazy how many catfish we were surrounded by when we threw them bread. Leah was so happy during the entire ride even though she was so sweaty.

We were suppose to get Thai massages afterwards, but it was already pretty late and we were all so tired that we just went back to our hotel, Ariyasom Villa Hotel.   The hotel was super cute.  My favorite part was the bathroom.  They provided a regular sized crib with clean sheets and mosquito netting, fresh fruit, a fridge stocked with complimentary water and fruit juices, and free wifi.  The breakfast was also delicious except for the fake meat (vegetarian restaurant).

The next day, we took off for Chiang Mai!
