Crystal Meets Leah

Crystal finally got to meet Leah. I haven't seen Crystal since the baby shower so it was really nice to catch up especially since she's now pregnant! Yay! Another friend for Leah! Their baby is probably going to be 3x bigger than Leah given how tall the two of them are. We ordered Thai food which was delicious and pretty much chatted the whole time until it was time to put Leah to bed.

Mammoth

Leah has been quite the traveler recently. This weekend we went to Mammoth for a friend's birthday. I was nervous how Leah would do on the drive and if the high altitude would affect her. She slept through most of the drive and we stopped frequently for breaks and feedings. Since high altitude can be dehydrating I fed her a little more than usual. I also got to dress Leah up in the snowsuit outfit Crystal gave her at my baby shower.

Saturday, we visited the Wallasch's in the early evening. Tyler did great with Leah. It was fun catching up with Marianna and getting excited over Crystal's baby. Saturday night, we went to Jon Saluta's birthday party. What a difference a year makes. Last year, we went to the house, celebrated there then headed to Hyde until the wee hours. This year we showed up at 7pm and left after 1 hour to put Leah to bed.

3 Months!

Happy 3 months Leah!! She's getting bigger and bigger and it's hard to believe she was only born 3 months ago.  She's still in size 1 diapers.  Can sleep a good 6-8 hour stretch, but her naps are still hit or miss - sometimes it's 30 minutes, sometimes is 90 minutes.  Hopefully her naps will improve soon.  This mama is exhausted!

Baths

We bathe Leah every other day as part of her bedtime routine. When we first started giving her baths, she cried and splashed water all over the place. Now that she's getting used to her routine, she sits well in the tub but looks very stressed! It's so cute. Her hands are in tight fists and sometimes pressed so tightly against her chest, she leaves red marks. She doesn't make one sound but very politely allows us to clean all her nooks and crannies.

First Flight!

This past weekend we flew to SF for an ortho conference. Leah did so well on the plane rides. We were lucky that both flights weren't full, so we got an empty seat in between us to put the car seat at no extra cost. She pretty much slept the entire time and when she woke up she was happy and playful.

I got pretty sick while I was in the Bay, and it was like Leah knew it. She took really good naps, (which is unusual), played well by herself without me constantly having to entertain her, and rarely got fussy. We went to an event with Matt's fellowship and amongst the loud noise she pretty much just slept in the stroller. Whew!
