Last Friday was "Free Senior Citizen Day" at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. My parents asked if I wanted to join them with Leah. I said yes, but I had no clue what I was getting myself into...
The place was PACKED - like unbelievable, touching someone everywhere you walked, packed. Luckily, my parents weren't interested in attending the seminar they were holding, so while the majority of the people went into the auditorium, we explored.

Leah had a blast. She pointed at all the fish and animals, touched water every chance she could get, sat nicely through a story time reading, and enjoyed her time hanging out with po-po and gung-gung (grandma and grandpa). The Aquarium is super kid-friendly with different types of children's programming, interactive activities throughout the facility, a cafe that serves a variety of food and beverages, and diaper changing stations. We'll definitely be back... just not on any type of "free" day. :)
Can't wait to take Olive there; i know she'd love it. The Sydney Aquarium was a huge highlight of our trip to Australia!
